KATEE HUI MBE

We’re delighted to share our founder Katee Hui collected her MBE this week from the King at Windsor Castle.

Laces began because Katee listened when a young girl told her she had no where to play football. And she continues to listen and fight for a space for girls in football, inspiring so many along the way.

Katee was awarded her MBE in the King’s Birthday’s Honours List in June for services to football and young women in east London.

To say we’re proud is an understatement. We’re so grateful for everything she has done for this club and for girls and women in sport across the country.
